House of Silvestri presents THEODORA BRACELET, a powerful sculptural wearable work by Tomasso Silvestri, created within the artist’s evolving investigation into Genderfusion wearable art—a body-centered practice that dissolves boundaries between adornment, sculpture, identity, and symbolic architecture.
Rather than functioning as conventional jewelry, THEODORA exists as a prismatic body-object: an intimate sculptural form designed to inhabit the space between protection and revelation, surface and interior, gesture and structure. Its circular configuration suggests continuity and transformation, while its raw edges and chromatic transitions emphasize process, emergence, and material vitality.
Constructed as a multicolored jeweled prismatic sculpture, the bracelet presents a luminous spectrum of layered tonal shifts—rose, violet, amber, and molten metallic fields—creating the impression of a surface in motion rather than a fixed object. The interior curvature reads as both shelter and passage, reinforcing Silvestri’s ongoing interest in wearable forms as threshold spaces for the body.
Within the framework of the Genderfusion series, works such as THEODORA challenge traditional distinctions between masculine and feminine ornament. Instead, Silvestri proposes a new category of wearable structure—one that responds to presence rather than category, to energy rather than convention. The bracelet becomes less an accessory and more a portable sculptural environment, activated through proximity to the wearer.
Its asymmetrical rim and mineral-like surface articulation retain the immediacy of hand-formed material intelligence, allowing the piece to feel simultaneously ancient and contemporary—part artifact, part future relic. This tension between refinement and rawness is central to Silvestri’s wearable practice, where each object operates as both intimate sculpture and symbolic extension of the body.
Measuring 4 inches in diameter by 3 inches in width, THEODORA BRACELET occupies a commanding physical presence uncommon in traditional jewelry scale. Its dimensionality situates it firmly within Silvestri’s larger sculptural language, aligning it conceptually with his 4D Sculpjewelry and CosX/Vibe wearable architectures, while maintaining its own distinct identity as a Genderfusion work.
Held within the artist’s private collection, THEODORA represents a key example of Silvestri’s continuing exploration of wearable sculpture as a site of transformation—where material, identity, and symbolic structure converge at the scale of the body.
